This is probably a long shot, and perhaps a bad idea letting people know where I live but I just want him to come home so here goes..
My kitty has been gone exactly one week. I’m starting to really worry for him. If you have seen him recently, please let me know. He’s a bit of a wanderer. He’s a very friendly cat too, friendly enough to hop in a car, which makes me worry someone has picked him up. We have contacted the vets and RSPCA but they haven’t got him.
If anyone in the Blue Mountains area has seen him or finds him please contact me. He is very loved and will be greatly missed if his disappearance is permanent, I want to try everything I can to find him :(

I do not live close enough to assist but perhaps some of my watchers are in your area :).
Have you attempted putting personal items outside to attract your cat home? Your cat may better find his way home if he smells something he recognizes. Putting a blanket or sweater or something that smells of you or your home etc outside where the cat might find it may help lead him back to you.
I hope he returns to you soon! I’ve had one of my cats ‘escape’ before and was gone for about a week.Thankfully she came back on her own and had -never- tried to escape like that again.
